Moderation protects useful participation without allowing businesses or reviewers to rewrite inconvenient facts.
What we moderate
Depais reviews community submissions, abuse reports, ownership claims and requested factual corrections. Automated signals are corrected when source evidence or collection logic is shown to be wrong.
Possible actions
We may publish, hold for review, request evidence, edit only for legally required redaction, limit distribution or remove content. Serious or repeated abuse may result in account restrictions.
What is not a violation
A critical rating, an uncomfortable fact or a good-faith disagreement is not by itself grounds for removal. Ownership verification never grants editorial control over reviews.
Appeals
Affected users and verified representatives may provide context or reliable evidence for reconsideration. Decisions are recorded so repeated reports can be handled consistently.
