Community standards

Review guidelines.

Useful reviews are specific, first-hand and written to help someone understand what actually happened.

Applies to every reviewUpdated September 2026

Write from experience

Review a website only when you have directly used, purchased from or meaningfully interacted with it. Explain the relevant context and avoid speculation about motives.

Be accurate and constructive

  • Describe what happened and when.
  • Separate facts from personal opinion.
  • Do not exaggerate or coordinate ratings.
  • Update your review if the situation is resolved.

Protect privacy

Do not publish passwords, payment details, private addresses, personal phone numbers, confidential correspondence or information that could expose another person to harm.

Conflicts and incentives

Employees, owners, agencies and competitors must not pose as ordinary customers. Paid, rewarded or coerced reviews are not allowed unless a disclosure and applicable policy expressly permit them.

Enforcement

Reviews may be held, limited or removed when they violate these rules, applicable law or the rights of others. A negative opinion is not removed merely because a business disagrees with it.
